Hi everyone! I've been meaning to post pics of my garden, but it's been a really busy week of prepping, planting, watering, plus a quick getaway to celebrate my 12 year anniversary with my husband. Here are some pics!

Below: My traditional bed which will have the Three Sisters as well as watermelon.

A view of all four raised beds. The bottom two were our first beds put in last year, the top two are made out of cinder block and put in this year.

Peppers, tomatoes, and garlic, oh my!

Three Sisters will also go in the raised bed. Horizontal netting to help support the corn as it grows.

Spring crops - Lettuce, onions, and snap peas (spinach, broccoli, and cauliflower haven't done too well)

Three Romas planted in the traditional bed

That's it for now. Gotta go install the drip system in the remaining beds. Things are coming together nicely in our backyard oasis!

Soooo, who is going to have fun today? This girl, I am going to plant a bunch a flowers and a peach tree!!! Yesterday Hubby took me to Runnings and I got 2 cattle panels for som arching trellises! I got petunias, marigolds, impatiens, begonias, geraniums, then I cheated on some of my vegetable starts and got a few... Tomatoes, better boy, lemon boy, sweet 100, patio, and jubilee also banana pepper, california wonder peppers and a cute little candy corn vine and a huge rolll of weed screen, some chickety doo doo (gross), and vermiculite. I have a few 2x5 boxes to build for the cattle panels but those are all for summer crops so I have a few weeks before those need to be ready yet.

I am going to busy today, I have all of the little helpers and no hubby (he's at his mom's house doing some garden labor) Very Happy
