Blueberries in Utah County Empty Blueberries in Utah County

We moved here from Atlanta last year, where the blueberries were easy to grow. I've been told they don't do well here bc they prefer acidic soil. I was wondering if I grow them in raised beds with MM, will that be enough to keep them happy? Or would I be amending the soil every year?

If blueberries like acidic soil, you may want to just add some type of organic acidic medium to bring the pH down a bit. Do you have any pine trees around you? Just adding a few pine needles on top of your soil as a mulch would probably be enough. If you don't have any pine trees, and you can't find another alternative that would work, they should sell the needles at the home improvement stores in bales.
