peas - bush type?
I picked up some pea seeds, "dark seeded early perfection." I don't think these are the kind that grow up though - I'm not sure why. There's no height listing on the packet. It says:
Sow seeds 2" apart in double rows spaced 6" apart with 24" between each set of rows.
Does this mean I should plant about 9 per square like green beans?

They may not grow to 7 feet, but they may get close to 5 feet; you will probably still want a trellis of some sort.

Most peas grow 6-7 ft tall though I bought some Little Marvel Peas, heirloom from Comstock Seeds, that only grow 18 inches, so they'll be sown like my bush beans.
I think if I bought peas and there was no other height info, I'd expect them to be tall vining types.
