An interesting theme. Some of these are deep purple or red, but I wouldn't know for sure until they came up.

Black currants. Sadly we cannot grow them here in NH, it is illegal, because they are considered a vector of White Pine Rust. ![Sad](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_sad.gif)

Re: SFG is "Back in Black"
I grow Black Cherry tomatoes and they aren't even close to black. They are a dark wine red and often with green shoulders. But sooooo tasty and very prolific. We love them at our house. I even roast and freeze them for winter. Mmmmm good!

Interesting. The only thing I've got growing that's black are zukes, eggplant and Black Cherry tomatoes, which aren't really black, rather deep wine purple with green shoulders in many cases. Lookin' good Josh.

Somehow I don't find black/blackish food very appealing. Nor blue food either. I guess I am in a rut. I forgot blueberries, I like them.![Very Happy](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png)
