Sick and Tired
So, I think I have been lamenting the non-stop rain here in SE Michigan....And, I am now lamenting some more! The rain has waterlogged the beds so much that I think some of the seeds I planted a few weeks ago have been soaked to mush. Now only some of the seeds have sprouted and I have empty space.
Oh well, I guess this is a good opportunity to try my patience with succession planting!
Anyone else having problems with this forsaken rain!

Re: Sick and Tired
yup, I am in southern Iowa. We have had so much rain and much of it coming down fast. I have my carrots I planted for Carrot week in a mess. One seed coming up in another square, some didn't come up. I think I have about 8 in one square, 4 in another and the lone one in my marigold square. Carrots have legs and walk!

Re: Sick and Tired
This is the Pacific Northwest, where rain, drizzle, mist is to be expected. But, Cindilu, you've explained why I found two squash-like seedlings coming up in the middle of my Asian stir-fry mix. Will never know what kind of squash, 'cause I yanked 'em. Or does this mean the compost wasn't entirely finished?
