How warm is it at night? We're having some really cold weather here, so I've covered every thing. Still, it's cold. If they get too cold, they will drop.

Here is a link about Tomato Blossom Drop. You may find an answer here. Good luck
Re: blossoms falling off
"Unfertilized or poorly fertilized flowers abort and fall from the vine within 1 or 2 days."

Tomato flowers contain both male and female parts in each single flower. That is why the wind can pollenate them. No need for bees to carry pollen to female flowers.

Re: blossoms falling off
From the article on vining plants that I linked above:
"The vine crops mentioned are monecious plants. That means that both male and female organs exist on the same plant. The problem is that the flowers with the male parts are separate from the flowers with the female parts. To complicate matters even further, at this time of the year, both male and female flowers may not be on the plant at the same time. Since it "takes 2 to tango", if the female appears first, the fruit will fall off the plant because it lacks pollination by the male. And, if that were not enough, many times when the male and female are both present, the male is impotent! The pollen that is produced is sticky and not readily adaptable to wind pollination. Pollen transferal from flower to flower relies principally on honeybees. Without good bee activity, the fruit set will be dramatically reduced."
So your blossom drop could be that you're not getting proper pollination.

Re: blossoms falling off
i think i have too many blossoms. they have alot or what to me is alot. and the ones that have alot of blossoms are also getting fruit fast. i think everyday i walk out there i see 2 new little tomatoes forming.
i used no fertilizer. just good old mm. but i did only use like 3 kinda of compost. 4 if you count the little bit i added from my compost piles. i need to get a few more different kinds i know.

I stand corrected. Thanks for clearing up tomato pollenation. I was miss informed. I will do some fact checking before posting in future. I have had such great sucess from toms covered with insect barrier in the past (no chance of insect pollenation) I took what I heard as fact. Sorry
