Found good sources for vermiculite & compost
I found a source in St Louis called Hummerts that also sells by mail order. They have other locations in MO as well. They have 4 cf bags of vermiculite, course grade, for $23.40. They also have medium grade for $18.60 for 4cf. That is about $7 cheaper than the other place I found that has it in those qtys locally. The other place was Worm's Way on Warson. Worm's way was more expensive but they had 3-4 different kinds of compost. Some of the bags were $10 for 1 cf which is pretty pricey but the variety was there.
I don't know if there are better prices out there for the vermiculite but thought I'd share what I'd found.

Absolutely thanks for sharing. I hadn't been to those places, and if nothing else, it helps me....lol.
If you get time, check out the vermiculite database in the other subforum. Punch in your finds. That will help people in the future, too.
Thanks again.
