Cheap Course Vermiculite in Phoenix
Called around and found 4 cubic ft bags for $23.25 at SunWest Container, 4104 W Washington, 85009. Basically 43rd Ave off I-10. Much cheaper than $20 for 2 cubic ft at Home Depot.

Thats where we got ours from. Super nice people!
Now we are lazy and just buy the premixed most of the time!

A Huge THANK YOU!
Thanks so much for the info. I'd just priced it today at Summer Winds...2cf for $16.99. When I called Sun West, the price has gone up to $26.55 for 4 cf but it's still an awesome price!

Re: Cheap Course Vermiculite in Phoenix
I was able to score some Living Social coupons- $15 FOR $30 worth of merchandise at Summer Winds. I picked up 6 bags of MN for only $45. I still have a couple of the coupons left and will probably get some vermiculite with it.
So keep an eye out on Groupon and Living Social for deals at nurseries.

I left Tucson in the latter part of 2008, but at that time, I was buying the 4 cuft bags at home Depot, for around $23. When I found out they had it, I didn't bother to search anywhere else.

Re: Cheap Course Vermiculite in Phoenix
That is a real good deal as I have to pay approx 34.00 for 3.5cuft down here in Yuma. Don't get over that way to often. Maybe have the nephew pick some up for me as he lives in Phx. Thanks for the heads up.
