I do a comparison of the two further up this thread. The heart of the book is all there. I do think it's a really good value and is the version I have. I just wish the publishers had either used a different cover or somehow marked the book as condensed/ value -- whatever. A few folks on this forum have been disappointed to find out they weren't getting the full sized book. I knew I wasn't as I have Mel's first book, and so much of the information on plants is the same.

I completely agree, I was bummed to think I was missing pictures and some good thoughts of Mel's. I am curious about the full version. I was just trying to share the positive I found. :-D

I was also glad to find out before I sent the book off to my friend. I would like her to know she may want to buy the full version as well in time. I know I do.
