IHA: swamp milkweed seeds
"Ice Ballet" Just harvested today. They require cold stratification, so planting in the fall is a great idea. Or they can be refrigerated for 6 weeks (or all winter) and planted in the spring. I've been told they don't bloom their first year from seed; however, a different variety a swamp that I planted this year is blooming now. So who knows? See my avatar for a picture. It can grow to 4' tall, but can also be pruned to fit. It's native to much of the US and attracts many varieties of bees & butterflies. PM me with an address if interested.

BUMP
Thank you again for the seeds!
Regarding cold stratification... do I need to do that now even though we are heading into fall? It is still really hot here.

Megan - the winter will be sufficient for them. You don't need to refrigerate them now. Good luck!!
