Re: Green onions
I planted my 'regular' onions at 16 per square, and have been harvesting some as green onion to thin the patch down to 4/square, so I believe that 16 would work for green onions.

Re: Green onions
I planted my green onions from sets and did 36 in one square, and they are doing GREAT! Don't know if that's technically the correct spacing, but it's working wonderfully for me!
For my bulb onions (also planted from sets), I did them according to the book and put 16 in a square.

Thanks
Thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it. I am going to plant some tomorrow. I would do it today but it is still freezing cold here thought the weather predicts that it will warm up as the week goes on. I am in Idaho and there is a freeze warning out for tonight
It just doesn't seem to know that it is mid June
