Green onions
Hi all, I started some green onions (scallions) inside for the first time. They do not get regular leaves so I don’t know when to up-pot them. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Green onions
They do not need to be up potted. As they get tall, cut the tops off to about 3" high (use the cut-offs in salads). As soon at the garden soil is workable, and nighttime temps stay above 20ºF, transplant the seedlings into the garden. Harden them off for about a week before transplanting, they are frost tolerant.
