looks like black eggs on Lettuce
I was getting lettuce from my non-SFG and noticed what looks like little black eggs on one of my lettuce plants I've goggled it and really didn't come up with much. I got rid of most the lettuce leaves that had it on it. can anyone help me of what this might be.

Since there's no answer from Ohioans yet, I'll throw in my two cents worth. In my climate, those little black things would be slug eggs.

marcy is there a way you could get a pic of them? maybe it would help if everyone could see what they look like. i'm new to the whole gardening thing so i cant help much. sorry
