Help! Green beans dying?
I am new to square foot gardening. I followed the guidelines as best as I could. I planted blue lake bush green beans back in March. They look really sad - turning yellowish, and losing leaves. They have tiny skinny beans but look very wimpy. Do I just need to wait it out or are they dying? I don't know what to do to help them, or if they can be helped.
I also planted zuchinni, bell pepper, lettuce, spinach, marigolds, and cucumber. Everything else is producing pretty nicely so far. Of course, the green beans are what we were most looking forward to having!
Can you help?

Click on the "wormie" icon in my signature. When you get to the page, scroll down and click on beans. I think you need to look at #180-184. It might be magnesium deficiency (lot of that going around) since your other plants are doing OK. If that's what you think after looking at the pics, use either Epsom salts or a magnesium supplement tablet crushed into a gallon of water and poured over the plants. It will take just a few days for them to perk up.
