My Intro
Hi! My name is Stephanie and this is my first year doing SFG. I’ve been gardening in containers and in ground since I was a child. Early this year my dad helped me build a raised bed so I could try gardening that way and hopefully reduce the number of containers I had on the deck. My natural soil is almost solid clay and although I’ve been amending a small space in my backyard for the past 3 years it’s still not great quality. I’m still planting there but have been putting my main crops in my SFG. It’s gone pretty good so far and I’m hoping to build another raised SFG before the fall. I’m glad to be a part of this fourm and look forward to learning from everyone.

Re: My Intro

from Kelejan in British Columbia

I have been to San Antonio in Texas a couple of times so I have a good idea what your climate is like. Completely different from mine.

I look forward to reading your progress. Lots of help and support from the wonderful people here.
Re: My Intro

Keep notes; they will be invaluable. What did you like? Dates, weather, germination, etc. I refer to mine constantly .
Can’t wait to hear your journey!
