Dixie's "rustic" garden shed
I haven't been around in a while, but if any of you remember me, my hubby finally started building my rustic garden shed. He got a bit carried away and now it is my jewelry/pottery studio. It has a loft and hardwood flooring. .....and it's PINK! He also built a pink chicken house outback for my chickens. Gotta love a good man.
and to brag, in 9 days we will be married 50 years! God is good.

Pink chicken house
The area needs cleaning up, but here it is. I have 19 hens, Rhode Island reds & black sex links. the pen area is completely covered & also on the inside of the housing area. We have lost SO many chickens in the past to raccoons and weasels, there is no way for them to get in unless we leave the door or gate open.

Could we see the inside? I'm a crafter too, and I love to see where other crafters work.

Re: Dixie's "rustic" garden shed
Since I'm way off-track from SFG, I'm going to make my yearly posting to my garden blog & I'll put pictures there post here when it's done. My blog is really a joke since I usually only post once or twice a year!

Dixie, Good to see you posting again. Do you have a "Dixie" thread on this Forum? Something like "Dixie's Garden"? Congrats on 50 years of marriage.

Re: Dixie's "rustic" garden shed

Dixie, I laughed so hard after reading the story of Mr. Mable, and then being introduced to Mr. Molly, that I had to share it with my mother!
Beautiful life you gave going there.

Re: Dixie's "rustic" garden shed
Dixie, You have so many posts that to merge them all in a single post would be very labor intensive and they would be like a shuffled deck of cards if done. That is, each post and reply would be listed by date and time of post and not make sense.
I enjoyed your blogs!

Re: Dixie's "rustic" garden shed
I'm so impressed with you and your husband have done with the garden shed, etc. Congrats on the 50 years. Wish my husband and I could have made that mark, but life is not always fair.
