I used Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food. Does that make me a bad person?

Go and sin no more! Actually, I used it once or twice when I made my first Mel's Mix in 2013. I made it wrong and the plants ground to a stop. 
I used the MG and immediately started on the quest to make the perfect home made compost.

I have no good compost for this first year, and my soil is store-bought junk, so I have to use Miracle Gro or watch everything wither and die. This fall I should have a real composting system, so next spring I should have black gold for my beds and the Miracle Gro can go back to the flower beds where it belongs. I get it free, so I'd rather use it than throw it away.Bart wrote:Hi Folks,

I used it on some of my seedlings this year. They were starving and seriously needed to be up-potted, but I could not make time to get it done right then, and used the fertilizer to give me an extension.
