Hello,
Need help AGAIN! I have just inherited a neighbor's garden in addition to my  wee rooftop  plot. It has a 6' high  fence enclosing  North, south , east & west.  15' per side.

Will cukes make it on a west facing wall? what  veggies will make it on a  east
facing wall? Should i just forget  planting the north facing wall ?
 thank you much!

Are they raised beds?  Post some photos please?  Too hard to figure out without know where everything is located inside the fence.

My two cents, but as CC says, more info is better.
East facing off the cuff, lettuce and other cool weather/partial shade plants.  Plants that tend to bolt in the summer heat, good thing about east facing is that whatever you plant will get relief from the hottest part of the day, just a matter of will they get enough sun from sun-up to noon.

North facing... pretty much forget.  Same as east maybe. Any chance you could move the garden box further from the north facing wall?  Leave an access path between the box and the fence?

In the summer, my north facing fence area gets lots of sun but not in the winter.  Depends on one's latitude.  The 2' tall table tops really extending the sun in a lot of areas that would be shaded by fencing.  Elevating this bed allowed winter sun to reach it maybe 6 hours a day in winter. east facing wall Cabbag10

When I started with my two 4 x 4 beds, they actually faced the sun to the south, but were shaded by my house.  I do intend to raise them someday, and the will give me more hours of sunshine just like yours, sanderson.

But as  have lots more sunshine now due to tree removal, I am in no hurry to do that work for now. One of these beds is currently a strawberry bed, so when it comes  time to refurbish it, then I will make the effort.

Hard to tell, pictures would be greatly helpful. Is the fence solid? How far away from the fence perimeter are the beds? One bed? Are you getting shadowed out by other tall things in the Area? Trees, buildings, etc.
