I have done row gardening, old school, Rodale organic. And I have done both SFG methods. Originally, I was poor and had a 4x4 with railroad ties, and had great success,that was the late 80s, using the original version...and it was great! I had CORN from a 4x4! We were poor...

Next level, OK moved and had a traditional row sitch....never produced crap . Turned into a horrible hot messy mess and just not my deal

ANSFG==SALVATION! It really is the way to do intensive planting. And not make me die or lose my mind!? cheers

So many things that I love about SFG. The best thing for me is MM, and adding my compost as time goes. I rarely have to deal with weeds. Also, the soil here in S. FL is so poor, that I would have to do some major amending to get row gardening to be nearly as successful as it is in my SFG boxes. Very Happy
