yard Long Bean Update
The yard long beans turned out to be an amazing summer survivor. Here it is mid August and they are still going strong. Here is the full story on our blog:

Re: yard Long Bean Update
The jury is still out on the fall garden Sanderson being way south we still have a couple weeks to think about it. We are planning some fall and winter camping and traveling so we are not sure if we will plant. We will keep ya;; posted and we highly recommend the beans as a great hot summer crop. ![Smile](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif)

Re: yard Long Bean Update
We picked a handful of beans and 6 okra yesterday. Peggy smothered them down in an onion gravy with smoked sausage and assorted peppers. The okra bean combination was wonderful and we made a note in our recipe book to definitely do that again.
