Chickens are in the coop!
Well I thought we would never get it done but Mother's day and the day after we managed to give the chickens a proper home! They now have a coop and run and seem very happy! I have one little chick that hasn't grown much that has escaped a few times which is helpful for us to fix things we overlooked. Now I need to get to work on the rabbit's home down by the coop and all of the animals will have happy homes! I will post pictures one of these days!
The only bummer is I think I have at least 4 roosters (all bantams) I am waiting on a few others to see as well, time will tell. I just hope they are nice cause I don't want to eat them...

How goes the meat chicken operation? Or is that on hold while you settle in the layer/pets?

Sounds like you have things going your way cheyannarach. I have had mine in the coop for about as month now and they are growing like a weed. Can't wait until they begin laying.
