Happy Thanksgiving day for Canadians
I am really celebrating my harvest this thanksgiving with Local turkey, stuffed with rice stuffing with garlic, celery, carrots, from my garden. Also making pumpkin pie with an Australian butter squash ( I got the seeds from Nonni)We wilwl also be having potatoes from garden and carrots and dill dish and you can see part of my dried bean harvest also in the picture. The one in the front, I think got crossed with a pumpkin. In fact almost everything in my garden got crossed with pumpkins, I have many huge zucchinis that are orange ![Smile](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif)

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, GWN! Even tho I live in the states, we are from Canada and we still celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow also.
On a pumpkin note, my cantaloupes became pumpkins.

Happy Thanksgiving to you in Canada!
Your menu sounds wonderful and I love the picture of your dried beans and punkins.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving day for Canadians
Well WE ALL, us and our guests all decided that that was the very best pumpkin pie we have ever had.
Nonna gave me the seeds and I managed to grow two plants which produced fruit very late in the year. So hard to tell which fruit was true to the parent. (the parent being a picture on google) SO in the end, all I got was one fruit that actually produced seeds.
But Australian butter squash truly is an incredible squash, and I managed to score about 40 seeds.
They are drying in my basement, but hope to spread the wealth around by sharing the seeds, but for now I am STUFFED. (you know turkey dinner.....)
