10:45 PM We just got home from celebrating TG with my kids and their attachments. I was very good about eating only one round of everything. Cleared the table and played Apples to Apples and Big Picture A2A .

Re: Happy Thanksgiving All!
What I'm most thankful for that our whole family is here, just a 10 minute drive from each other on clear roads. I cringe every time the news shows snowy roads and long lines at airports. The weather cleared up for today, here, but the Black Friday shoppers are gonna get WET!Scorpio Rising wrote:Happy Thanksgiving, my friends! Enjoy your loved ones, good food, and give thanks!

Re: Happy Thanksgiving All!
It seems that the USA Thanksgiving Holiday is causing quite a scene at Canadian border crossings. The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) is being inundated with a large migration out of the USA. Additional staff members are being brought in to deal with the situation. The costs for additional border personnel, CBSA overtime charges and care (e.g., housing, medical, schooling) for the immigrants is expected to have a major impact on the Canadian government's already stretched budget.
The photo below is an example of the problem.
A very Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving All!
IThis was on the internet news today. I'm sure the destructive wild fires north of SF also contributed to this problem.
