Mel's MIX Available at LOwe's in Riverside
Hello everyone! I just came from Lowe's in Riverside on Magnolia and they have a pile of Mel's Mix bags available for $8.98. It is Tuesday July 31 at 6:30 p.m. local time.
Just letting you know....

That is good news as I have not seen any in my local one in temecula. But maybe they finally rebooted and they are getting out there.
Was that a 1 cf bag or two? It seems cheaper but the other one was $12 for a 2 cf bag and if this is one they have cleverly raised the price by $4.

I wish Home Depot and or Walmart would carry it.

MM may be available in more WA-areas some time.
I suggested that the Lowe's center in this neighborhood start carrying MM. After explaining the 3-3-3 parts it is made of, and that it was the foundation of SFG and what this means, the manager said he was going to look into it.

Re: Mel's MIX Available at LOwe's in Riverside
It is definitely more expensive. By about $3 a cf. However I found the ingredients less clear than before. Seems they want to make a point that it is at least 1/3 compost with some peat and verm. but not much else info wise. Also added worm castings and some other nice bits too.
Oh well, since I cannot really make my own at the moment, it will have to do. Has anyone used it yet?

We are in the process of using it right now. You can PM me for the results if you'd like.
