Looking for a "how to make trellis netting" info. Anyone have any idea how to do this? Thanks.

I just did this
Hi Evelyn,
Nice to see a poster from Wyoming here. I grew up in the Saratoga/Encampment region but now live in San Diego.
What I did was use 1 3/8"x 1 3/8" redwood as the frame which is about 6'Hx6'W, bought some trellis netting from Home Depot for under $6 that came in a 5'x8' size. Then I bought some 3/16" wood dowel rods that are really inexpensive. When I got to installing it I started in the middle of my 6' wide frame and drilled a 3/16" horizontal hole through the wood and threaded the one strand from the middle of trellis net through that hole and then pushed the dowel rod through to secure the netting and then cutting the dowel rod off about 1/8" above the frame and pounded the dowel down so it was flat with the frame. Then I saw that each sq hole of the trellis net was 6"x6" so I worked my way out to each end by drilling on 6" centers. It's really easy and it secures it really well. If you do this just make sure you have the trellis netting squared correctly with the frame you are attaching it to, that is, like in my case I would double check to make sure that I was using the the 8' part of the trellis netting and not the 5' part for my 6' frame span.
I've included a picture here and as you can see I still have to do the lower part of the frame, and then the soil, etc. Do have one plant going though that was given to my as a gift that I needed to get planted and have a question posted about today in the Southern CA region. Any help with that one would be appreciated.

Re: Trellis netting
Hello San Diego!
I've been to the Saratoga/Encampment area! Has some great camping places but the Pine beetles are really devastating the area.
Your trellis looks great! I did find some trellis netting on Amazon earlier, so got some on the way now. I do know someone who actually makes their own netting but I've not been able to find out how he does it.
Hope your gardening goes well.
