Hi countrystepping. Welcome to the forum!

Page 221 - Potatoes - 4 per square. Not whole potatoes, but cut them up and plant four sprouted pieces per square.

Okay, I have never grown potatoes in all of my 40 some (Lord I am getting old!) years of gardens. Can you walk me through what you do to get potatoes? I am a total novice but want to grow potatoes next year as I am assuming at this time it's too late for this year.

Depends on your growing season whether or not it's too late to start and what kind of potatoes you choose. But if you plant them 6 inches deep and lightly cover them with straight compost (eyes up), as the start to grow keep covering them. Once they get to the top of your box you can add a tophat to cover them in some more, which will give you more room to make more taters.

That's how I did mine and they are growing like crazy!
