Interesting way to grow cucumbers
Shaped cucumbers grown in molds. I saw this on Pinterest and had to share.
I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Reminds me of the square watermelons grown in Japan in molds because the pack and stack better.

Yes, weirdly awesome indeed! Someone else on here posted once about disney world growing mickey mouse shaped pumpkins or watermelons or something.

I just did a quick web search and "Vegiforms" is no longer making the molds.
All is not lost though, I did manage to find 2 of their molds at The Caning Shop. $12.95 a pop for the "Garden Elf" (fit for pumpkins, eggplant, etc) & "Pickle Puss" (good on zucchini, squash, cucumbers, etc).

Just like our carrots will turn into an L shape when they reach the bottom of the box. Hmm. Seems like someone could create their own form and.... hey I see a future contest for this forum!

You can do something similar by putting the pollinated flower in a bottle and letting it grow.

Square molds for square foot gardening. All our cukes and zucchini's would stack in the crisper drawer so nice and neat, just like our tidy little gardens.
