Need help finding compost in Myrtle Beach SC
I think this is the right regional for this?
Anyway, I have ANOTHER friend (yay!) that is starting a SFG that lives in Myrtle Beach. She has been to Lowe's and HD and got Verm, PM, & Composted Cow & Composted Mushroom, but that's all she can find. I'm trying to help her find the other 3 types of compost but having no luck. I'm not pulling alot of companies up on a google search. I did find one nursery called "Southland" but I called and they too only carry cow & mushroom.
She is also having a contest with her hubby who made a box with garden soil and miracle grow... so she's got to prove to him that MM is better!
If anyone knows of a supplier in that general area where she can get a variety of compost your suggestions would be much appreciated.
Oh and btw, she told me that people and both big box stores told them that if they use this much compost in the garden it will burn your plants.......
On another note, today's the big day I go down to help my friend in DE get her first SFG going, I'm very excited!

Not if it's properly composted.

Don't you love it when people who don't know any better say things like it is gospel. I went looking for poblamo peppers and only one nursery had any. The poor thins had been in 4" pots so long that they had mature fruit and done to lack of any others I took them up to the counter and commented on their state. "They look pretty good to me." was the responce.
