I do want to get back into it. I am sure it won't happen this year. I've got food growing, and that was my primary goal this year. We've had lots of big expenses, with clearing and improving the land, building a new rabbitry, building a chicken coop, building a shed, etc.... and we're planning to get a generator and dairy goats soon!

So the other large expenses need to slow down a little before I can put the investment into Mel's Mix again.

The stuff is WORTH IT, though! My SFG went NUTS!

I also am using some of the techniques I learned here in my row garden: pruning tomatoes, and trellising and pruning squash, for instance.

I was wondering if the system had stood the test of time.

She apparently has extensive raised beds. She read the threads and found the idea very appealing, but was trying to calculate the cost of retrofitting all her beds.

I suggested she could try homemade ollas, instead, if it was going to be unaffordable. I didn't realize she had so much gardening space already! Shocked
