More plants wilting

I'm definitely the culprit here. I noticed some white specks and tiny holes in my pepper plants leaves along with tiny black flies in the soil and webbing in the soil yesterday morning. So I mixed up a batch of organic insecticide/fungicide and sprayed all my plants, including the latest new transplants liberally (over and under). Except.... this solution is meant to be diluted 4 TBSPN to a gallon and I forgot to DILUTE.

I noticed wilt on one of my pepper plants last night and forced myself to take a step back. (my meager attempt to Stop trying to control everything) T

Early this morning, everything was wilting to vary degrees so I watered some cotton balls and wiped the tops of the leaves. But tonight they still look like this [img]

Should I spray with water at dusk ? Any suggestions ?

Any suggestions welcome.... besides staying out of the garden ;-)

Personally, I would "rinse" them off, but then too the spray will be going into the soil, I doubt it will do that much harm. I cannot tell you how many times I have done something like that, for instance there is the first and ONLY time I have used salt in the garden. I was trying to kill slugs, I sprinkled my plants with it, BIG NO-NO. They forgave me and came back, but I dont' take the salt out anymore. Hopefully they will be okay, keep us posted.

Thanks for responding, I took your suggestion and use a spray bottle to mist them last night and again early this morning. Peppers and eggplants look better but the tomatoes are still droopy. But, if your plants came back after SALT Shocked

, then I'm a lot more hopeful for mine now. Plus there's a thunderstorm coming tonight.

People, in general, don't give their plants enough credit. Don't forget with MM, we are providing the perfect growing medium. We water all the time even with the retention MM gives. We compost tea, fertilize, talk to our plants, etc....even if we don't admit it (well, a lot more of us do than admit it). In short, we baby the heck out of them.

Back in the day, you stuck plants in the ground and let God water them and hoped for the best. In the vast majority of cases, you got food.

Plants are resilient. They are older than humans after all.
