Re: Holy snow Batman!
Its still snowing here today in southern Maine. Blizzard conditions.
This is what greeted me when I opened the garage doorway to the driveway an hour ago.
From the looks of the picnic table, it surely must be over 12 inches.
If it weren't for the posts in my raised beds, I'd nver find the boxes.
I'm going to go thumb thru seed catalogs and forget about the storm.

Re: Holy snow Batman!
We had 8+ inches, major snow for us here in SE Tennessee. I'm still snowed in.
Now what were they saying about global warming?

Not as much
We only got about 7" this time. Hope it don't do like last year! We had over 90 days with at least 5" on the ground. Long winter!

Re: Holy snow Batman!
Only a few inches here. I plowed all night Tuesday, though. Good to get my days and nights back where they belong.
Neat game. Got 184 on first shot.....gee, you would think that solidifies me as a Gen X'er.

Re: Holy snow Batman!
We finished with 17" on the driveway last nite.
After my son snow blowed it clear, he needed the hot chicken with rice soup I'd made for supper.
Today its bright and sunny and 31 and all the roads are cleared. No ice, thank goodness, even tho our nite bottomed out at 4*F above zero.
Let's hope we don't get any more for a couple of weeks.
Good luck there to everyone.

Re: Holy snow Batman!
I'm still moving snow here in NH. Today it's currently 3F degrees & I'm getting a great harvest of snow off the roof. Later I will move on to roof ice harvesting, all this hopefully before it starts snowing again in a few hours! I wish I was in Chopper's garden instead!
Re: Holy snow Batman!
I'm glad most of our snow is gone. Suppose to get into the 50's today or tomorrow I was told. I was also told that on Tuesday we might get more. Yuck! I hope not. I don't trust the weather here for more than a day or two. It's just like back in WI due to the lake, except here it's due to the mountains.
Winter Wonderland
Here is the view out of my front window this morning. It took my husband many shifts all day yesterday to get the whole driveway clear (It goes all the way down the side of the house to the garage in our backyard too. Very long!).
You can see how much snow we got by looking at the top of the neighbour's hedges. We were supposed to get 5-6 inches more overnight, but it looks like we only got about an inch.

But snow is fun
My 4 yr old grandson thinks the snow is a blast! Here he is digging down to make a hole. Don't ask me why, he just replied "cause I want to" to me...

Re: Holy snow Batman!
5 more inches of snow today, now the freezing rain icing on the cake! This is what makes me appreciate my garden and it's season all the more.
