Winter plants?

Winter plants?
I was assuming that as we had the first snowfall of the year it would be too late to plant anything this year but is that the case? If I get my off the ground boxes built and filled by the first week of December is there anything I can plant that will grow over the winter such as garlic or anything else that will be ready to harvest in the spring in time for planting new seedlings?
Re: Winter plants?
You can plant your garlic cloves still. The cold does actually help with growth later. You can also plant rhubarb crowns. Not sure about anything else.
