Moon & Stars
36 years ago today my sweetie made me the happiest girl in the world when he said, "I do." At that time he promised me the moon and the stars. He fulfilled that promise to me this summer.
I just never expected it would come from his watermelon patch.
Thanks for the ride, Sweetie. I hope we have 36 more years together. (Anyone who can raise watermelons that taste that good is worth keeping around.)

Congrats, we just had our 32nd in July. Hey we all made it thus far! with what we have learned , the next 32 should be great! may you have the best yet to be !

In all our years of row gardening my husband was a reluctant participant. He worked hard and was active in the kids' lives, and he didn't relish the idea of spending what little free time he had chopping weeds and tilling ground in the garden. My health had deteriorated to the point I didn't know if I could continue gardening much longer, and was depending more and more on his help.
My husband was off work for three months last winter for back surgery and during that time we discovered SFG. He has completely changed his idea about gardening now, and it has become one of the joys of our life together.
I believe the best is yet to come, and SFG will be part of that.
