Anyone know about growing plumeria ?

My wife went on a cruise last year and brought back a plumeria. I followed the directions and it didn't do well. Searched the internet and the directions were entirely different. I trust that website (The Spruse) and it started producing leaves and looking a lot better. Never produced a bloom though. 

Brought it in for the winter, south facing window, along with a couple of other houseplants. over time it lost all the leaves. When I sat it out in the shade this spring, I am seeing indications that new leaves are forming. Never grown one, know basically nothing about them. I thought someone on here might have been successful growing them. 

When you have been married as long as we have, when your wife brings a plant home and tells you that it's important to her, it's best to listen to her and do your best to keep it alive. 

It's in a 6 in pot now, I have an 8 in waiting. But thought I would get some information first.

Plumeria are outside of our expertise. Maybe you can join a Facebook group for growing tropical plants.
