Growing growing growing
Our local seed and nursery companies sure now how to get the best out of a short prairie summer! Here's a few pics...
A not-so-glamorous shot of my peas and beans. There's a local heritage seed company that has some awesome, vigorously-growing seeds.
So many flowers on my cukes! So happy! (So are my bumble bees)
Corn is doing so well. Peas and carrots also.
Hope you are having a productive gardening summer, Canada!

Re: Growing growing growing
Nice pictures, Amethyst 42.
I am sorry we missed answering your post.
I had quite a productive garden this summer but I am looking forward to this coming season as I put in a lot of effort this past year with compost, chicken manure, leaves, and some wood chips.
Come on over to the 2015 Canada Regional thread. I have an ulterior motive. I have agreed to try my hand at being the Regional Host for Canada, and I need to justify my rather imposing title.
It is lonely here and I need a few more Canucks to keep me company. Of course, the other SFGers drop in possibly because they are nice people and don't want to see me all by myself.
