Hi everyone, from Cocoa, FL
Hey all, nice to meet everyone. I'm near the space coast (where they do space launches) in Central Florida and have tried gardening a few times in the past. I had such good luck with my first run of square foot gardening that I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately there were some tough life issues that happened right as my 2nd year of SFG was supposed to happen, so it just kind of stopped before I could get that 2nd year under my belt. So hear goes my next go at it. Looking forward to seeing how things go...so long as I can find some of that darn vermiculite.

Welcome to the forum from Ohio! Glad to year that life is going to let you get back into gardening. Vermiculite has been in short supply, but it appears to be catching up a little. I know that A.M. Leonard has shown it back in stock, with a 15% discount sale, but shipping may be prohibitively high on it.

Farmtek also has Super Coarse Vermiculite available for shipping.

Re: Hi everyone, from Cocoa, FL
I ordered some from AM Leonard last night. Shipping was expensive, but with the 15% off discount it was still about the same price per bag as my local garden supply store, which only had 1 bag of fine size. I purchased it last weekend so I could at least get started, but now I've got enough coming to finish up the rest of my beds with the appropriate course size. Thanks for the tips everyone! Hopefully the prices will come back down in time. We'll see how it goes.
