A mum that I got as TSC last year (which of course they dont have this year), a purple wave petunia, and a red geranium! Geraniums can take a full freeze before they give up the ghost!sanderson wrote:SR What is it / are they?

Fall colors are quickly appearing with the shorter days, and cooler nights.
"Fall colors are funny. They're so bright and intense and beautiful. It's like nature is trying to fill you up with color, to saturate you so you can stockpile it before winter turns everything muted and dreary." ~ Sioban Vivian

Re: October Avatar: Fall Gardening
Beautiful, OG. Something strange going on, here. No fall colors, yet. No leaves dropping, even after several days of extreme winds (40+ mph gusts). Most years our oaks start dropping leaves in Aug/Sep. Confusing!
