Hi Angus, and welcome to the forum!
If you search for radishes in the search box, there are quite a few posts that might help. This one: https://squarefoot.forumotion.com/t18068-radish-not-forming-bulbs-any-ideas?highlight=radish looks like it has some good information. You may want to post additional details in that thread, like your region, when you planted and if you're growing in Mel's mix, so some of the experts with radish experience can help. I know that radishes are a cool weather crop so it may just be weather-related this time around.

Re: spindly radishes
Welcome, Angus! My eldest son is named Angus, my family is Scottish. Yes, as BJW pointed out, the search box in the upper left corner is a wealth of information about pretty much anything. What is your weather like there? Sometimes too much Nitrogen can mess with bulb formation, but if you are using Mel’s Mix that usually isn’t an issue.
