A quart of Blue Lake pole green beans and Beit Alpha cucumbers.

We hit 102*F this week and the Muncher cucumbers are covered with spider mites. I need to treat them this evening.

Got some beets and pulled my onions. Got the onions on a drying rack outside now. Am getting some nice size tomatoes but still pretty green. Might have to pull one and fry it up...

More Spinach, more Swiss Chard, more Kale, more Lettuce, more Onions, more Radishes, and enough Rhubarb for another pie.  Tomatoes are blooming, but it will be a while before there are any ready to pick.

Yes, last year.  I will have to comment on them in the Snow Fairy thread after I have compared them to my Juliet grape tomatoes.

What Have You Picked From Your Garden Today - Page 11 Empty Stevia, wonder

Picked, rinsed and dried top part of stevia bouquet. If you try to get stevia at the store or online you'll usually find that it has been cut with some additional, cheaper artificial sweetener like erythritol. If I was looking at the commercial value of a plant, this might be my most profitable crop.

Stevia, wonder. Razz  I still have a bag of dried stevia from the year I grew it.  I even steeped some in cheap vodka and stored in purchased eye dropper bottles.

I'm picking tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and the last of the pink-eyed Purple Hull cowpeas before I ripped out the plants for a second round of sowing and growing.

Cook it a long time with ham hock (or country ham or salt pork and sometimes bacon but not usually).  Sometimes (which I do) is break up the meat into small pieces to eat along with the beans.  And sometimes add small potatoes to the pot.
