I also got a pair of mid calf-high Croc boots for slogging around in the snow and such. A few years ago I did a tunnel over my sfg and grew & harvested veggies up until the beginning of February. The only thing that stopped me from harvesting was slogging through the snow and ice to the garden. Now I'll be able to do it without feeling like it's too dangerous.

I like to wear crocs similar to those red, white, & blue ones in my garden. Last year a bumblebee forced his way into one of the holes & stung me!

I love wearing Crocs and they're my favorite garden and yard working shoe. They just hurt my plantar fascitis so bad, I have to somewhat limit or watch my use. I'm bad though. I love my Croc flip flops, and they're so comfortable, I'll wear them all day Very Happy

I'm not a fan of wearing shoes in general, and after wearing steel toe boots all day everyday for work, I love being barefoot or in me Crocs. Very Happy

CC, those strappy ones are really cute!!! I'm still wearing my original pair after 10 years or so. Haven't managed to wear them out yet. That says a lot, considering how much I wear them! I also have a pair of retro clogs, https://www.ebay.com/i/222555735021?chn=ps&dispItem=1, that I have managed to wear out. These have a separate piece on the sole, and I've worn mine so much that it's flapping loose. This is sad, because they were my favorites, and they don't make them any more. They're just as comfy as the original, except not so excessively roomy. And I have a pair with the fuzzy lining, and my newest pair, again the classic, but in springy green. And I've always loved them for gardening because of how easy they are to slip in and out of when going in and outdoors. Saves me from tracking all that dirt, leaves, etc. inside! Wink

I never realized that the bottoms were so smooth. No wonder I had such a difficult time walking over the ice and snow to harvest veggies under hoop. Rolling Eyes

CC, maybe you can attach some tire studs to them to help navigate over ice and snow.

Holy cow! You've got me beat, mine still have a bit of tread on them. Not a lot, but definitely more than yours. Isn't it amazing how long these things last? It's a shame they're not still making them in that color blue, it's so pretty. They have some in a pretty turquoise color, but only for kids. Rats!
