Great Lakes, too
We too have been having sudden torrential downpours daily, which is very unusual for June. There seems to be a repetitive pattern of unstable

Re: A typical Summer shower
Yea I saw it and cant help but think it was a faked hoax Worms don't act like that neat little piles down the center line????? not in my world. I can't imagine the conditions that would have caused that and Why that what ever it was why didn't they just crawl back where they came from.
Re: A typical Summer shower
According to other reports / explanations, the middle of the road was the highest spot. They had a maximum Mass/size and some would leave and re-form another pile. After the waters receded, they crawled back to the off road. The only reason I believe it is that they are so clean. My worm masses are dirt-y. I would have been tempted to grab a pile or two! Just reporting - wait, if it's on the internet, it has to be true!
Re: A typical Summer shower
I saw that worm ball news clip also. Looked like someone took handfuls of them and plopped them in the middle of the road.
Nice rain shower video. Our rainy season is off to a slow start this year. Been real dry here but not California dry. Looking forward to our afternoon rains.
