Conditions of seedlings

My first round of broccoli, cauliflower, and collard seedlings went leggy without a doubt. The stems were thin, white, long, and feel right over. This time I restarted them and they are under a plant light. Here they are a little over a week after first sprouting. Stems are green and seem to be fairly sturdy for their size. Anyone see any early signs of going leggy, or are they doing just fine right now?

make sure to keep them close to the light....about an inch below the light is best.....the farther away the more leggy they will become...

also if they become a bit leggy you can plant them a bit deeper once you transplant them...this happend to us the first time we grew cole crops from seed.....they did great once transplanted Very Happy

I have learned the hard way about leggy seedlings. All of my first batch of lettuce became leggy in our kitchen's window box. I have since been putting them out in the sun during the day (too cold at night), and I have seen a dramatic improvement.
