Hi everyone. I wanted to share a quick tip: If you are planning on planting anise (for butterflies and bees), cilantro (corander), dill, or fennel seeds, you might want to check out your local farmer's market. I am not necessarily going to put these in my SFG beds, just around the area in regular dirt or in pots.

In the Atlanta area we have the DeKalb Farmer's Market. It is an amazing place. The spices there are 1/5 (or more) the price of spices sold in grocery stores, etc.

I was able to pick up small tubs of the above seeds for about 35 cents to 50 cents each. This is a nice trick to get your seeds economically. The tubs are about half the size of a small size butter tub. You'll have more than you know what to do with.
Wink

Awesome deal! Too bad I live at the opposite end of metro Atlanta from you.

I did get over to Pikes and Elrod's and have my herb garden covered with 9 different herbs and have only oregano left to find. Waiting for this 3 night cold snap to pass and then they are going in the dirt Friday.

I went out to my TT SFG and see 3 squares starting to germinate from the seeds I planted about 10 days ago when we had those warm days. I really getting stoked and having to be careful and not get too carried away too soon.

Sweet! You are well on your way. I'm in the indoor seed sprouting stage. I know... it's hard not to get carried away. So much fun to plan!

cheers
