I'm trying to figure out if I should buy the new book. My book I currently have has a copyright of 1981. Thinking it might be one of the earliest ones. Found it sitting on my shelf about 6 years after buying it. I bought it and put it up and then completely forgot about it. Should I buy the new book? It seems so much has changed. Or can I figure this all out by reading the book I have and by reading the forums and the website?

I just happened to come across the website and forums after doing a search. Otherwise I'd have happily just kept reading the book I have, dug 12" in the ground, laid my plank walk ways and went at it. Very Happy

Thanks!

Yes! Get the All New book 2nd edition! I started a few years ago. Had one bed I made the old way. When I got the new book I was soo amazed! Now my beds are with Mel's recipe and I have awesome gardens.

Thanks! I just ordered the new book and also the answer book.

I asked a question about Sq ft needed for my needs on the General SFG talk board. But wondering if the information needed to figure that up will be in the new book. Maybe I should have waited to ask the question till after I saw what all was in the new book. Rolling Eyes Just getting anxious to get started on building boxes I guess.
