How many cu ft?
GG
I was told this 7 cu. ft. G.E. model could hold 250 pounds of meat. But I look forward to putting a lot of veggies in there and begin buying local organic meats.
That should store your garden goodies!

It's for a 2 person family so I think it should be plenty.

out with store bought eggs
in with back yard eggs
our chicks are due in April.....excited....a little nervous....yet happy we made the decision and order our new garden helpers we had the pleasure of looking at the difference and tasting the difference between store bought and back yard eggs from a very nice gentlemen who let our son gather up a few fresh eggs from his hen house while our son and hubby was buying some fire wood from him...we were so excited to try them out that we forgot to take pics!
I have to say they were a BIG hit with our family....after cracking them open not only are they MUCH larger than a large egg at the store, but the yolks were much darker and the white stood up instead of oozing out over the plate before cooking them.....
funny......this morning our son wanted the last two special eggs we got and HE had to remind daddy to wash the egg before breaking it open....how cute is that!

Oh this is very exciting, Rose! I hope there will be lots of photos of your new babies! I love fresh eggs but the association won't allow chickens here. Maybe some day I'll try to change that.
