Build a Cheap Greenhouse
I just watched this on U-tube and thought how great for starting seeds and plants in the spring or extending a fall harvest. This greenhouse is easy to assemble, which puts it at the top of my list.
The price is normally around $140 but on clearance one can buy one for around $50. I don't know the brand, but its a winner. Other building supply stores may have the same thing.
For those that don't know John from growingyourgreens.com, he's an avid organic grower and his videos can be mighty helpful. In this one he shows assembly tips of the 5 ft W by 5 ft 6 inch L by 6' 6" tall greenhouse.
I hope this isn't deemed advt, but pure garden knowledge and opportunity. Anything that helps me put together garden equipt easier can only be a good thing.

Re: Build a Cheap Greenhouse
Thanks quiltbea! I think I need 'some file' on my computer. Have sound but no video. Good info. I don't think it's advertising, except to get me in gear, to hunt down an affordable greenhouse for myself! Maybe I can find one before spring gets here.

Re: Build a Cheap Greenhouse
My little pop up 5x5 plastic greenhouse was $89 full price at HD in 2010 and more than doubled in price in 2011 when I went to look for another one. Lowes had some 6x8 units for $199 earlier this year and sold out quickly. This was about the cheapest walk in greenhouse I've seen this year.
