Are Seeds for Sprouts OK for Growing?

I haven't been able to find any broccoli seeds locally. At the health food stores in my area they sell organic seeds for sprouting and eating, like bean sprouts. They also have broccoli seeds for sprouts, among many other types. Seems to me that if the seeds sprout, they should grow into a plant, right? So I bought a tiny bag and now have hundreds. Some are soaking in water right now.

Has anyone grown plants from sprout seeds? Do you think it will work?

I don't see why it should not work, if it sprouts then it can grow further. Give it a try, CapeGoddess, and let us know how it turns out.
