Here is my seeding box...and this morning it is full of MUSHROOMS!!!
HELP! How do I get rid of these??? Dsc_3810
I sterilized all the dirt in the box a month ago because I had mushrooms growing then, too. And they are coming up nearly exactly where I planted seeds. I found a bunch of red wigglers in it. I put them back in...could they have carried the spore?

One seedling is visible, an evening primrose. the orange things in the back are from the scarlet trumpet honeysuckle 5' away.

I can't believe they are back...I'm waiting to see what I planted and I'm getting what I don't want!

HELP!

If it was me, I would just pluck them out or pinch them off. Mushrooms are everywhere; just a fact of life and the fabulous world in which we live. And I may want to ease up on the water... if it was me...

Okay. I'll clip them off. I don't want to disturb the seeds.

Being that so many mushrooms are poisonous, I want to remove the cause of them. That's why I sterilized everything a month ago. Funny thin is the shrooms only came up on one end, and now they are coming up EXACTLY where I planted.

The box is kept moist for the seeds germination benefit.
