Hello from England UK!
Hi everyone!
I'm not only new here, but also to growing my own vegetables too! I've started planting some seeds and waiting for the growbags to arrive for my patio, soon I'll be well on my way!
If anyone has any tips and/or advice it would be greatly received!

Re: Hello from England UK!
[quote="plantoid"]Welcome Genasai ,
I'm David , living just off the west end of the M4 in South Wales .. for my sins I used to live near to your stomping ground close to Wisbech.
Do you have possession of the " All New Square Foot Gardening " book 2006 edition by Mel Bartholomew ? This book has superceeded an earlier book . I got my paperback copy off Amazon UK for just over a fiver second hand ( it looked unused ).
We run our Square foot gardens by Mels 2nd edition book as the system works well anywhere in the world if closely followed .
If you have it , do read it often , for there is so much in there that has taken Mel 30 odd years to try and disprove .. if he couldnt disprove it , it is in the book and to my mind is very sound advice.
I've been gardening row and semi SfG for 45 odd years , have just receently fully moved over to Mels Mix for my 20 off 36 x 36 x 36 inch high raised beds .. everything is growing fine ..much better than the old manured earth beds.
Do you have the luxury of having somewhere to make your own compost ? If so get it going as soon as you can ..... it's the biz.
Do try and post pictures and keep us up to speed as to how things are going for yiou ..
You won't be able to post pictures for about five days after joining , then use something loike photobucket as it brings up a picture on the threads instead of a link like some of the photo sites do.
