all about bugs - All about bugs Empty Excellent article

That is a most excellent article. Reminds me of how my mama used to plant flowers amongst the veggies. As a lil kid I just thought it was pretty. the older I get the more I learn about what all those pretty flowers in the garden are for.

Post  Patty from Yorktown 4/12/2010, 8:38 pm

Hi,
I got a great book for Christmas this year. I is called "All you need to know about Insects in your Garden" by Jessica Walliser. It has a section on the 24 most common bad bugs and the 14 most common beneficial bugs. It has nice glossy color pictures of bugs in several stages of their life cycle and how to control them organically or what good bug/bugs will hunt them. It makes it easy to identify a lot of garden bugs and has saved the lives of several assassin bugs. If you are squeamish about bugs then this would not be a good book for you, due to the gory pictures.
